Whew, lately our life has been just crazy! The last few weeks have been intense to say the least. Russ has been working and working, traveling and traveling. Life has been very eventful, and for those of you who have noticed we're not around much, Sorry!
We recently flew to Chicago for an unexpected trip to see Russ' family. His cousin was in a bad car accident and is still in ICU almost a month later. So we went to stay with Russ' mom and spend some time with his family. We visited Kyle in the hospital, but more importantly we saw all the family, which we had not seen in quite a while.
We came back and Russ flew to Florida the next day to bring his 90 year old grandfather back with him to live in Boise. That was a long and very quick trip. Grandpa and great grandpa is now settled at Spring Creek Manor in Boise ID. Grandpa is doing well, and getting adjusted.
The next day Russ flew to Seattle, and back on business, and then we retired for a day to relax at home. But then as it always does, Monday snuck up on us again. Oh, I almost forgot. Over the weekend our puppy Cocoa developed a rare infection that almost killed the poor dog. Took a few days to determine it was an itra-uterine infection with which they had to do an emergency hysterectomy. Amazingly enough the spay only cost 300 dollars, but for some reason an emergency hysterectomy is over five times more! Hmmmm..........
