Nature walk

We are still enjoying Boise local places to show the kids so this summer we liked this one and a lot of camping (post on that later )Nika and Bianca just made me smile as I followed them . Bianca definitely knows who she can use ..........

This trip made there day . We are so glad that we can still amuse them so easily.

Nika's skating summer fun !

Nika had two skating competitions and competitive figure skating camp this summer . We all have enjoyed watching her compete here in Boise in June. What so special to me about Nika is that she always makes her routines reflection of her personality which makes it for me so emotional to watch . My chest gets so tight ,my heartbeat get fast , eyes wide open and of course tears that are trying to come out while I enjoy her little ( the program for her level is 1min. and 10 sec. long) story on ice through her graceful glide and movement. This time she got her music from film Narnia (ALL by her self ) which is very beautiful , calm but powerful piece of music that represents exactly our Nika . She is such a self motivated little girl , she get up around 6:30 a.m. four times a week with the help of her alarm clock ( that she sets for her self) gets her hair done , brushes her teeth , get dressed and comes down to my room and gently wakes me up to take her to her practice , sometimes she stays there at the Ice World until 4 p.m. ( of course she has her lunch and snack money with her and she calls me when she is done ) she just has so much fun with her skating friends that all her countless numbers of hours practicing got her to the point of going to the Regional in october ( at Medford , OR ) for the first time witch totally surprised her coach and us , because she jumped 3 levels in the last two weeks .Wow !!! I am so proud of her not just because of her skating , because of her work habit , determination , sweetness and the fact that she wants to take care of her family like making breakfast for sick dad ( over easy eggs with generous amount of salt :-) we didn't even hear her in the kitchen cooking so that was a TOTAL surprise ) . Her hard work definitely payed out , she got two gold medals at the Boise competition and two silver medals at the Sun Valley !

Castle Miravet , Spain

Do you have those times in your life when you are so thankful for your spouse because with them by your side you can or will do something that you won't do by yourself ? Well ........ I sure am thankful for Russ for talking me in to going to see this BEAUTIFUL castle . The reason of my doubt was that we had to drive by our self a bit of a distance (the signs there was VERY far from helpful ) and constructions on the roads are unpredictable , plus not to mention our trip from airport to our hotel when we got lost (thanks to my wonderful friend who didn't mention that she is not driving yet) , so we ended up driving opposite direction to where we had to go , then turn around and go through the mountains on the wining little road that at first made me sooo amazed by the view and then soooo sick by that side to side motions. Any way ....... all that fear was calmed down by my spontaneous and adventuress husband and I be able to enjoy that wonderful trip to Miravet !!!!!

When I look at this picture I really miss Spain .......... :-( :-)

When we got home ( it was Russ's 35th birthday ) we found this ! Sooooooo sweet :-D
