It may not seem like a big deal, but the stone was a warm welcome after looking at plywood for the past 6 months. Also, if you look closely, the new beams are a drastic improvement over the old ones. The railing, although not quite finished yet, looks 500% better than the old wall and railing that we tore out in June. It really opens things up, and Russ made it hiself. (whew)
